How to Captivate Audiences with VR

The client's goal was to present a captivating VR experience at their exhibition that would halt and attract attendees.

Implementation:

Developed using Unreal Engine 5.1 and utilizing the freely available City Sample Pack. The primary challenge lay in optimization, as the package originally ran slowly even on high-performance PCs without VR. We had to optimize it to run smoothly on a mid-range PC while also making it compatible with a Meta Quest 2 through the Link cable.

To enhance the cityscape, we introduced an additional tower crane, allowing visitors to take in a panoramic view from its summit. From this vantage point, they could observe the dynamic city, bustling traffic, our added advertising billboards promoting the client's company within the scene, and the small aircraft gracefully circling around us.
